Today I am beginning a new blog. Fresh from three exciting days in Los Angeles (and delirious from only one hour of sleep during the red-eye flight that landed this morning at 6 AM!) my motivation for blogging has been amplified as a result of the Origins bloggers. Mike Harris was especially inspiring when he said his blog provides incentive and accountability to journal. Since my previous blog site was last updated the same day it was started nearly two years ago, I could use some incentive.

Allow me to extend special greetings and appreciation to Alex McManus, Mike, Octavio Martinez, and the others that heightened my passion for blogging during the world premier gathering of iMosaic (if you can call it that; the site itself has not yet launched). I spend enough time on my iBook each day (well, make that too much time!) that the public journal is a natural extension of my love for writing and technology.

It is true that we all want to be a part of something greater than ourselves. Origins brought together a unique and diverse gathering of people passionate about Jesus rather than organized religion.

My 8 year-old son has just invited me to play street hockey with him outside, so I must end now. We really missed each other during our three days apart. LA was great, but there's no place like home (Ann Arbor, MI).
